I don't know if I have the energy to write creatively at this point. I kinda just feel like brewing myself a nice strong cup of ethiopian coffee. And have a swiss cake roll. Well, another package of swiss cake rolls anyway. However, my husband will be home from work shortly, and he doesn't favor coffee breath. Go figure. That and I probably shouldn't down a pot of coffee before I go to bed. So here I am, back for a round of online journalizing.
Ho hum, things are chaotically sane right now. Aaron and I have been married 1 month (as of the 29th of January) go us! I love my husband! The wedding and honeymoon were amazing. I am afraid it would be hard to sum up on xanga one of the most awesome experiences of your life...so I don't think I will try. Suffice to say, the ceremony was beautiful, and I made Aaron stay an extra day in Hermann, MO because I loved it so much. http://www.hermannhill.com/conference-center.htm check out the amazingness of hermann hill cottages. I have some pics of the wedding and pre wedding on facebook, but I have a lot to go through.
Oddly enough, we refer to our home now as a cottage. It is a small house, but pretty cute if I do say so myself. I have had a lot of fun decorating and getting creative about space saving. One of my super creative methods is keeping most my clothes at Mom and Dad's. Aaron does a great job with helping me keep this tight space clear of debris.
Next week I should officially be an aunt. Sunshine (my eldest sister) and Scott (her hubby) are having their first. Pray for her and their baby, it's breached and they are doing a procedure next Tuesday to get it to switch directions. Aaron and I are planning on going down there next weekend. YES.
Next September I will be an aunt again! Bry (second oldest sister) and Matt (her hubby) are expecting their first. WOO HOO. I love babies.
Also, I am going to be a big sister again. YES. My parents are adopting! It is so exciting. They are looking to adopt a sibling group from ethiopia. There are two girls and a boy. Pray for their support raising and getting all their million pages of paper work done.
Me? I am learning how to be a wife. Trial and error. There is only so much counseling can prepare you for. I love being married though. God has blessed me above and beyond what I could have asked or imagined. I'm still plugging away at work, trying a lot harder not to spend all my money on clothes there. Sticking to a budget has proved to be challenging -- but it's good for me. We are getting a new district manager, I am pretty excited. I get to meet her February 13th.
Other than that it's getting to where we need to be, his classes, my work, his work, church, seeing friends, seeing family and trying to have a little time to ourselves. Chaotic sanity.
